Belmont Drive Project


The Belmont Drive Project is a temporary accommodation and support service for single homeless people who are identified as being high risk/high need and demonstrate chaotic life style choices.


The service consists of 11 self-contained, 1-bedroom starter flats which are fully furnished and equipped to assist new tenants in settling into their surroundings, and working towards achieving a more stable lifestyle.


Eligibility Criteria

The Belmont Drive Project is available to individuals who meet the following criteria:


  • Aged 18+
  • Single People; and/or couples (where accommodation is appropriate)
  • All homeless prevention options have been explored and exhausted
  • No immediate access to settled accommodation/'roofless'


Have been assessed as having needs or exhibiting High Risk in 2 of the following areas:


  • Mental Health
  • Rough Sleeping/Homelessness
  • Substance Misuse
  • May also have No, Low or Medium risks around offending (not high)

"Devise a bespoke and realistic support plan from the outset"

All individuals within this service have a designated Support Worker who works with them to devise a bespoke and realistic support plan from the outset. The tailored support plan will detail how targets will be achieved by the Service User, whilst drawing attention to the resettlement process and addressing the potential move-on opportunities available.


How do I make a referral?
