Emergency Pods

In addition to the residential service, we have remodelled part of the property to provide 4 emergency pods for overnight use. These are 4 individual en-suite rooms that are used by the local council to provide individuals with the opportunity to have somewhere to sleep for one night at a time whilst they will be supported to find something more permanent to meet their needs.

The pods are equipped to the same high standard as the residential rooms with TV's, toiletries and towels, and  individuals using this facility will also be offered a hot meal. No alcohol or drugs will be permitted in the service and it is also expected that individuals accessing the service will act in a respectful manner.

To access this service, a MainStay assessment must be completed by the local Housing Options team or Life for Life. Pod referrals must be made between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and clients must arrive at the service between 6pm-8pm.
