An exciting opportunity has arisen within New Start’s Welfare Benefits Department for a Welfare Benefits Advisor. Working as part of a team endeavouring to provide quality accommodation and support services for vulnerable adults and young people within a safe and secure environment.
As a Welfare Benefits Advisor, you will work within the framework of New Start’s policies and procedures in ensuring the provision of an effective, efficient and qualitative financial support facility, through the management, development, maintenance and monitoring of systems, planning and communication appertaining to the financial and general administration of the organisation.
It is essential that candidates have experience of dealing with claims for Housing Benefit, UC, JSA, ESA, DLA and PIP.
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Disclosure will be required for this post.
