New Start
The family business behind New Start began trading in 1972 as a building and development company. Now, almost 40 years on the business has evolved into a well established Social Housing Landlord, providing accommodation-based services for vulnerable individuals across Merseyside with varying housing and support needs.
The organisation believes that deep-rooted family values to which the service was built on, have been key to the success of the company's development. This has empowered New Start to diversify and take on new challenges - making the organisation more robust and able to take positive strides in a difficult business climate.
New Start, Today
New Start now employs approximately 40 members of staff, dedicated to providing accommodation based support services to meet the diverse needs of over 170 service users across Liverpool.
Client groups supported by the organisation are:
- vulnerable adults with housing & support needs
- children / young people who are currently in the care system.
The organisation works at ground level in the communities of Liverpool to build safer and stronger neighbourhoods, promoting community cohesion and equality of opportunity to all.
Promoting socially inclusive practices, New Start believe everyone has a valued part to play in lifting our communities towards becoming sustainable and healthy places to live and work.
