Investors in People Award
The staff who are employed by New Start are viewed as the organisations' most important asset, and this was acknowledged in 2008 when New Start gained recognition as an ‘Investors in People’ employer.
'Investors in People' is a flexible and easy to use framework that is recognised as 'the leading people management benchmark for business improvement'. Using an outcome focused approach, the structure of the programme outlines what businesses need to achieve, but never prescribing how. This enables employers from every sector and size to use the framework to work towards achieving targets in-line with the nature of their business.
The programme encourages businesses to focus on the organisations key priorities and performance targets. New Start favours this framework and sees it as an essential tool to move the organisation forward in the adult care / support and housing sectors, improving staff performance to the highest attainable level possible along the journey.
New Start is currently working towards achieving the 'Bronze Standard' which demonstrates additional recognition and achievement alongside the full standard framework.
